Scientology and Dianetics Saves Marriage

This press release from the Church of Scientology of Chicago about a doctor who couldn’t face marriage even though she had found the “love of her life.”  She didn’t resort to unworkable psychiatric lables and the convenient designer med to fix this.  Rather, she used Dianetics and got the the root of the problem, so it never reared its ugly head again.

Happily married more than 20 years later, she recommends Dianetics and Scientology to anyone wanting better relationships.

I aboslutely agree.  I have seen so many people wreck their lives because of stupid compulsions and repressions that they could fix for real and for good with a couple of hours of Dianetics (or even just reading Scientology and Dianetics books).

A few years ago I saw an event where the leader of the Scientology religion, David Miscavige, was talking about Scientology being a bit too “incredible” because it handles so much in life it can seen impossible.  So I am really happy we now have courses at our churches and missions where people can study the basic books by L. Ron Hubbard— the best way to learn the subject and be able to use it!

Although many Americans still have a firm belief in marriage and “living happily ever after,” the fact that 50% of marriages end in divorce and that violence is the reason stated for divorce in 22% of middle-class marriages shows just how often this dream goes wrong.

Do You want to Pay for FDA Internal Problems?

Forbes announced today that the Food and Drug Administration is about to spend $1.5 million to train 2,000 staff to avoid the kind of fallout that occurred after the agency withdrew the Merck & Co. Inc.’s Vioxx. The painkiller was pulled from pharmacy shelves in 2004 after studies revealed patients using it were at higher risk of heart attack and stroke.

I personally object to spending $1.5 million of tax payer money on this, when simple solutions exist that are far less expensive.

For example, if every one of the 2000 employees simply got and read The Problems of Work by L. Ron Hubbard most if not all of the points to be covered by this program would be addressed.

Mr. David Miscavige released a brand new edition of this book–a perennial favorite. He also pointed out that although it is a simple book that can be used effectively to introduce people to the subject of Scientology and its application in life, it is also a compilation of the essential information to improve efficiency, reliability and happiness in the workplace.

Longterm Fatigue from Chemotherapy/Radiation

I don’t know why it took a formal study to find out that there is longterm fatigue following breast cancer treatments. All you would have to do is hang out an an oncologist’s office and ask the women who are waiting for their follow-up checkups.

How much do you think it cost for the “researchers” at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla to do their follow-up study? And who financed the research?

What women really need is not someone confirming that they feel like crap. They need something that will help them feel better.

I’ll tell you what I would tell anyone in this condition — do the Purification Rundown. It is enormously effective at getting rid of the toxins that lodge in the body. Not only that, it is effective at getting rid of the residual effects of radiations. And the effects of both can be and usually are very long-lasting.

But perhaps even more important is the increased emotional and spiritual wellbeing you experience from completing the rundown. It’s quite amazing. Who would have thought that having these kinds of drugs and toxins lodged in the body could lower your emotional tone and make you more subject to mental and emotional problems. But they do.

L. Ron Hubbard did extensive research into the relationship between the spiritual and the physical and the nature of the being and his/her purposes and goals in life. Fortunately for us he also fully documented his research and published books and recorded taped lectures so anyone can share the knowledge he gained.

The basic books and lectures of Dianetics and Scientology were released last month by David Miscavige at an international event in Clearwater, and Scientologists are avidly studying these works in 16 languages at all corners of the world. But they are great reading and listening for anyone who is searching for answers about themselves and their spirituality.

Self-Help Site Changes Man’s Life

It’s rare you learn of a site that has so much impact it restores someone’s faith and gives him a new outlook on life. That’s the story that came out this week about the Scientology Handbook web site. The site, published by the Church of Scientology International, contains a cross section of the information in many of the chapters of the actual book, and it works. That’s the thing about Scientology technology. It works! Here’s the story:

A visitor to the Scientology Handbook web site was surprised to find that the skills he learned made such a difference in his outlook and ability. Here is what he wrote. “Nothing could be done about it. “I knew the brain, a mechanism created by cosmic chance, decayed and died. And that was it. Nothing followed or preceded life. I wanted to have faith, but every time I asked, ‘Is there something more out there?’ all I heard back was silence. “Worse, I didn’t feel like I had any control over what was in front of me right now. Nothing in this purposeless existence could be bettered or significantly changed.>>more

Summer Sunday in LA

Hard to believe it’s the (sniff) last Sunday in August.

The stores are full of back-to-school specials and people are racing to the beach for the last weekend before Labor Day, when it will be too crowded.

I remember how I  used to dread going back to school!  Used to do strange things to my stomach, used to feel waves of anxiety.  Just knowing fun was a whole year away!

Wish I’d had study tech then.  It would have made my life so much simpler.

And speaking of study, I’ve been continuing with my study of the Scientology Basic Books and Lectures (released in July by Mr. David Miscavige).  I feel myself growing and changing by the hour.  It is so amazing what L. Ron Hubbard did in writing these books and in the lectures explaining them.  And the quality of these editions of the books is just incredible.

Scientology News: Harlem Church and Scientology Books

The New Church of Scientology of Harlem

I found this presentation of how the new Church of Scientology in Harlem will look at CityLimits.org.

What a great building and what a great idea to have a major Scientology church in Harlem!

David Miscavige actually announced this new church a month ago at an international Scientology event in Clearwater, Florida, so it was “Scientology news“, but I was surprised to see it hit the regular news.

Well, I guess it just goes to show that Scientology is newsworthy!

Personally, I think it’s great that this new church is opening.  Harlem represents so much that is good and bad about our country: good in it’s incredible influence on American culture, bad in its typifying all the bigotry, neglect and treachery of white American culture in the way Black culture, pride and opportunity has been so undermined for centuries).

I think that this new church and the community center they are opening is going to be a turning point for Harlem, and that can’t come too soon from my point of view.

There’s another piece of great news, that has to do not just with Harlem but with Scientology anywhere in the world.

The day before the new Harlem church was announced, Mr. Miscavige made another announcement that is making a huge impact on Scientology all over the world. That was the release of all the basic books by L. Ron Hubbard in 15 languages, and all the early taped lectures he recorded as companion lectures to the books, which provide tremendous background and detail on the research he was doing at the time.

All in all it is a great time for the Scientology religion. I’ve never seen Scientologists more optimistic, more involved in their communities and more gung ho.

These books contain so much truth. I’ve been spending some time every day reading them and I feel completely revitalized. I have read them before (I’m reading the Dianetics book right now) but because they are so basic and they deal with so much truth it’s like you’re waking up more and more as a being. I feel so much more alive!

And the fact that this is all available in 15 languages (plus English) is great news, because anyone, anywhere can get a copy of these books, and start on an extension course and man can you improve your life with that!

Scientology Beliefs

The term “Scientology beliefs” is actually a misnomer. The reason is explained on the Scientology web site:

“In Scientology no one is asked to accept anything as belief or on faith. That which is true for you is what you have observed to be true. An individual discovers for himself that Scientology works by personally applying its principles and observing or experiencing results.”

This is a brand new concept for a religion, as most religions are about faith, but it becomes very clear when you read Scientology and Dianetics books by L. Ron Hubbard.

His books are pretty remarkable. By reading them I have gained so much insight into myself and questions I’ve had forever: Who am I? What is the purpose of all this? What happens to me when I die? Have I lived before?

It is pretty startling to find that these are not esoteric questions at all, and the answers are available to anyone.

And now all the Scientology and Dianetics books have just been re-released. For the Western Hemisphere they have been published by Bridge Publications. It was announced last week at an international Scientology event, by Mr. David Miscavige.

For the rest of the world, the publisher is New Era Publications International
